The Pepsi National Volleyball Championships (22nd men's and 17th women's) will begin in the city on June 20.

A total of 16 teams including seven women's teams will participate in the four-day competition at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor National Stadium in Mirpur.

The teams are: Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh Rifles, Bangladesh Police, Khulna, Dhaka, Kushtia and Rangpur (men's) and BJMC, Pabna, Rajbari, Tangail, Rajshahi, Khulna and Gazipur (women's).
